Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sehat (“we”, “us”, or “our”) at sehat.family and any associated services. By creating an account or using Sehat, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.


1. Who we are

Sehat is operated by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name], a company being incorporated in India. Until incorporation is complete, Sehat operates as a sole proprietorship under the name of its founder. For all matters relating to these Terms, contact us at hello@sehat.family.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sehat account. By using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You may add family members who are younger as profiles under your account, but you are responsible for all activity under your account.


3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We offer authentication via email OTP and Google OAuth — you agree to keep your login credentials confidential and to notify us immediately at hello@sehat.family if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account with others. Each subscription is intended for use by one household or family unit as defined by the plan limits (2–7 family members depending on plan).


4. Subscription and payment

Sehat offers the following subscription plans:

Paid subscriptions are billed annually. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your selected payment method. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

Refund policy: If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, contact us within 7 days of your payment and we will issue a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Plan limits (upload count, member count) are enforced per the plan. Upload count is measured from the start of each subscription year and does not reset on cancellation or downgrade. Deleted reports do not restore your upload count.


5. Acceptable use

You may use Sehat solely to manage genuine health records for yourself and your family members. You agree not to:

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of all documents, health records, and data you upload to Sehat. We do not claim any rights to your content.

By uploading content, you grant Sehat a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you provide and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.


7. AI-assisted features

Sehat uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to automatically extract and summarise health information from uploaded documents. This extraction is intended to make your records easier to review — it is not a medical opinion and should not be relied upon for clinical decisions.

AI extraction may occasionally produce errors, miss values, or misidentify test names. You are responsible for verifying extracted data against the original document. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on health information.


8. No medical advice

Sehat is a document storage and organisation tool. Nothing on Sehat — including AI-generated summaries, biomarker explanations, medicine information, or any other content — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.


9. Service availability

We aim to keep Sehat available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. We will provide advance notice of planned downtime via email wherever possible.

We do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available indefinitely. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.


10. Data and privacy

Your use of Sehat is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Sehat, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.


11. Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time from Settings. Upon account closure, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You may request a data export before closing your account.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide notice of termination unless prohibited. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid subscription fees on a pro-rata basis.


12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Sehat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or medical decisions made based on content displayed in the app.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


13. Intellectual property

The Sehat name, logo, product design, and all software code are the intellectual property of [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name]. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without our written permission.


14. Governing law and disputes

15. Changes to these Terms
